A few months ago – after the lockdown period – our pastoral care givers asked to be allowed to visit the residents in Frail Care again. Needless to say, these residents look forward with great anticipation to these visits by Petra Schindler from the Catholic Church and Pastor Schalk Treurnicht from our Kreuzkirche congregation. These visits take place every alternative Wednes- day morning. Included here are a few photos of Schalk and Petra together with a few residents.

Apart from the above visits, the residents from the St Johannis Estate can also participate in a church service once every second Sunday of the month in the morning. These services are the responsibility of Kreuzkirche, Bellville.
In addition, pastors from one of the Western Cape Lutheran churches take turns to deliver a devotion (Andacht) here in the Mountainview hall – twice a month on a Wednesday afternoon. The love and spiritual care offered are be- ing greatly appreciated by all residents who attend these services.
