Children’s church is held during the service in our Children’s church room every Sunday.

PRAYERS’ GROUP & BIBLE STUDY
Each Thursday morning at 09:00 a congregants gather at the church centre for a prayer meeting, followed by a Bible study at 9:30 a.m. Currently, the respective sermon text for the coming Sunday is the topic of discussion. Everyone is welcome. This also provides a forum where people can share their thoughts and concerns and be there for one another.
At the St. Johannis lifestyle estate on every Wednesday there is either a devotion or a Bible study. On the 1st (in German) and the 3rd (in English) Wednesdays of the month there is a devotion in the big hall. All are welcome to attend.
On the other Wednesdays of the month there is a Bible study meeting were we discuss Bible themes and share together.

Bible study meetings with the Kraaifontein Lutheran congregation. Every second Thursday in the evening at 19:00, we meeting at the Kraaifontein Lutheran congregation for a Bible study. A lift clubs drives through from Bellville at 18:45.

SUNDAY READING
A few congregants at Kreuzkirche do the scripture readings
(Epistle and Gospel) during Sunday church services. However, more readers would be greatly welcomed as we deal with three languages: English, German and Afrikaans.
CARE
There is often a need for congregants to be visited by members of the church committee or by the pastor. If such a need exists, be it a joyous occasion such as an anniversary or be it illness, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are there to support one another.

MUSIC
We as Lutheran love to sing and worship our Lord during our services. With the use of our organ and piano we sing from the Australian Hymnal, with more contemporary songs also being introduced. Other members bring their own instruments to join in the worship.
If you want to come and play on a Sunday, you can bring your instrument along and join in! If you want to receive the hymn list for a coming Sunday, please ask our pastor and he’ll send it on to you.
TEA & FLOWERS
Have you noticed? There are fresh flowers on the altar every Sunday. Wouldn’t you like to bring some too? Please let us know on which Sunday you are willing to help?
Every Sunday of the month we offer coffee/tea and cake after the service so that we can catch up with each other.
We need someone to take care of and help with the preparation- setting up cups, boiling water and doing the dishes afterwards.
