Firstly, we need to thank everyone sincerely for your contribution in the past year – might it be financial, contributing to the bazar, helping with odd maintenance jobs around the church or reading during services, playing music and any other contribution.

t is too soon to report on the detailed finances of 2025. We still need to capture the last data.
Therefore, I will focus on the finances of the coming year.
Firstly, as per our budget meeting, we are entering this year with a deficit on the budget of ± R 187 000.
Should there be any questions, please let us know.
Secondly, I just need to inform you about the stewardship contributions of congregants towards the finances required to be church.
A good guideline is to contribute about 3% of your monthly income as a stewardship contribution. In this way everyone can contribute. This contribution should be ideally transferred directly into our bank account, but can also be paid in cash as an offering during the service. Our banking details are in this newsletter or can be viewed on our webpage (https://kreuzkirche.co.za/). In our meetings we often reflect on the fact that everything comes from God. How much are we willing to return to His kingdom? 3% can go a long way.
