The call committee for the new pastor met at the end of 2016. It was a positive meeting and valuable input was given by all who attended. We, in conjunction with Bishop Filter, have sent out the advertisement for the vacancy. We hope and pray for a positive response.
As always, finances are limited and we therefore urge each and every one to look into their hearts when pledging. The biggest foreseeable expenditures for 2017 are:
- Appointment of a new pastor
- Perimeter fence around the church
- Roof replacement at 27 Middle Street.

2017 celebrates the 500 year anniversary of the 95 Theses posted (31/10/1517) by Martin Luther against the Schlosskirche in Wittenberg, Germany. During this year we will host some activities in the church centre to commemorate this historic event – keep an eye on our newsletter for more information on this.
