On the second Advent, December 7th, we welcomed the Kraafontein congregation and other members of sister churches to our English\/Afrikaans service. This is an annual exchange and it was our turn to welcome them, which we did very gladly. The liturgy was shared between Schalk and Ps van Wyk from Kraaifontein, who also gave the sermon. Communion was shared with members of both congregations.<\/p>\n
As a special treat we heard the rendering of choral songs from the excellent choir from Kraaifontein conducted by Dr Martin Hendricks. They gave two presentations. After our usual coffee and tea refreshment after the service, we enjoyed a Bratwurst with delicious mixed salads provided by the ladies in our kitchen. There were great ambience and fellowship between both congregations which was well received.<\/p>\n
